Verify Your Hexing Meters Step 1: Prepare for the Upgrade Before starting the upgrade process, check if the meter is STS-1 or STS-2. On your meter pad, enter '873' and press ‘enter’. If the meter displays ‘1’, your meter is on STS-1 and needs to be upgraded. If it displays 2, it’s on STS-2, which indicates compliance and needs no upgrading. Step 2: Enter the Tokens The upgrade process requires the entry of three tokens in a specific order. Meter owners and users will be issued with instructions from their prepaid meter service providers on how and when to go about doing this. Follow the instructions provided to ensure that the tokens are entered correctly. This step is crucial to ensure the meter is properly upgraded to STS-2.
